Step 3 : Turn off Updates

As you are not using original windows, you are not authorized to update windows. If you update windows, Microsoft will install one file which can detect your window is genuine or not. So follow the below steps to switch off windows automatic update.

• Open control panel.
• Go to windows update.
• Click on “Install updates automatically (Recommended)”.
• Select “never check for updates (Not recommended)”.

After following above procedure, you can remove windows not genuine error. But there is chance that you may have black background. In that case, change the background by going in to system properties.
